  • Join Donatello, Raphael, Leonardo and Michaelangelo as they battle the forces of evil for control of the Mississippi River!  The 2x Regional Champion Water Ski Team is back with a new theme this summer featuring the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!  During this humorous, family-friendly show, watch high-flying stunts, fast-paced barefooting, graceful swivel-skiing and even human pyramids on water as the good guys save the day... and eat a little pizza! Show times are 6 PM and 8 PM on July 23.

    Bring beach towels or lawn chairs and enjoy this free waterski show for the whole family along the banks of the Mississippi River - located just south of the Broadway Bridge.

    Twin Cities River Rats will also feature weekend Water Ski Show an 3 pm & 7 pm shows on Saturday, July 18 and Sunday, July 19!

  • Tour de Fat is New Belgium Brewing’s traveling celebration of all things bicycle, honoring mankind’s greatest invention. Born in Fort Collins, Colorado, to increase awareness and participation in cycling as a sustainable form of transportation, Tour de Fat has grown into a national rite of passage for cycling advocates and bon vivants alike.

    Opening each show with a costumed bike parade through the host city, Tour de Fat celebrates the power of the bike by encouraging everyone to embrace their inner-cyclist and ride the streets as a rolling carnival of creativity. The festival also features a celebration of the inspirational car-for-bike swapper series in which brave souls hand over their car keys as a commitment to commute by bike.

  • Memorial Blood Centers will be hosting a blood drive before the Aquatennial Target Fireworks on Saturday, July 25, 2015 from 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM! Memorial Blood Centers is a community blood bank based in the Twin Cities, serving local hospitals including Hennepin County Medical Center and Children’s Hospital. MBC provides over 2,000 units of life-saving blood each week to patients in need. This will be our 11th year hosting a blood drive in partnership with Aquatennial. The bloodmobile will be parked on the corner of West River Blvd. and Portland Avenue near the Stone Arch Bridge.
