TARGET PRESENTS 3D FIREWORKS
Minneapolis (June 27, 2005) --- A spectacular display of pyrotechnics will light up the Minneapolis sky over the Mississippi during the Target Fireworks at 10 p.m. on Saturday, July 23. The fireworks will be set off from the 3rd Avenue Bridge making the best spot for viewing them near St. Anthony Main and the Lock and Dam along the river banks.
The world-famous Zambelli family will orchestrate this year’s extravaganza by using more than 10,000 pounds of explosives and 45 miles of wire. The Target Fireworks Show is the largest of its kind west of the Mississippi.
For more than 100 years and four generations, members of the Zambelli Family have combined quality, professionalism and showmanship, establishing them as “The First Family of Fireworks.”
The soundtrack of the Target Fireworks will be broadcast live on KOOL 108 (107.9 FM). KARE 11 will rebroadcast The Target Fireworks Show on Sunday, July 24 at 10:35 p.m.
As part of its commitment to the community, Target is sponsoring the fantastic fireworks display and handing out free Bullseye 3D glasses for all to enjoy.
Prior to the Target Fireworks, KOOL 108 will host its annual RiverBlast bash. Live entertainment, food and fun for the whole family will begin at 6 p.m. on West River Road.
This event is free and open to the public.
